Paul started  diving when he was fifteen years old.  He began at a time in his life before certification agencies had been conceived and was fortunate enough to have a former navy diver as his mentor.  Paul grew up and began his diving in Venezuela.  Paul also speaks, reads and writes fluent Spanish.  Throughout the years, Paul has been diving in many countries in the western hemisphere, including the Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico and east and west coasts of the United States.  Underwater photography,
teaching scuba and traveling with his many dive friends top his priorities. Paul is married to Ann Herring, a PADI Master Scuba Diver.  Ann is his most frequent dive buddy and travel companion. Paul is a PADI Instructor Development Course Staff Instructor with over 2,500 dives, most which have been done in the ocean.  Diving is truly Paul's lifestyle!
